Welcome to CADAS: A Beacon of Hope in Chattanooga, Tennessee

CADAS is a non-profit substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment facility committed to offering quality treatment, prevention, and education services. We strive to serve clients regardless of their ability to pay, ensuring that everyone in need has access to the support they deserve. Adhering to the highest standards of care recommended by the American Society of Addiction Medicine, CADAS provides comprehensive services designed to foster lifelong recovery.

Our Comprehensive Services

At CADAS, we offer a wide range of services to meet the diverse needs of our clients:

  • Medically-Managed Withdrawal: Safe and supervised care to manage acute withdrawal symptoms from alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines.
  • Residential Rehabilitation: Intensive programs in a supportive residential setting, focusing on physical, emotional, and spiritual healing through group therapy, psychoeducation, and 12-step meetings.
  • Outpatient Services: Flexible programs that allow clients to receive treatment while maintaining their daily responsibilities.
  • Transitional Living: Supportive housing options including halfway houses and sober living apartments to help clients transition back into the community.
  • Prevention, Assessment, and Education: Programs aimed at preventing substance use disorders and providing educational resources to individuals and families.
  • Adolescent Services: Specialized programs that address the unique needs of young people, including family therapy and accredited educational support.

  • Scholze Adolescent Center: Tailored programs that ensure continuity in education while addressing substance use disorders in youth.

Commitment to 12-Step Recovery and Beyond

Our daily schedule and treatment approach are grounded in the principles of 12-step recovery, ensuring clients have the tools and support needed for long-term sobriety. We also offer medication-assisted treatment, aftercare, and sober living support to facilitate the transition into early recovery and beyond.

Insurance and Funding

CADAS accepts most commercial insurance, TennCare, and serves eligible Tennesseans through various public funding options, ensuring that financial barriers do not hinder access to treatment.

Medical Detox Services

Our medically-managed withdrawal care helps clients through acute withdrawal, offering a crucial first step toward recovery with options for continued care.

Adult Residential Treatment

Our residential rehabilitation program provides a structured environment for comprehensive healing, emphasizing small group therapy, psychoeducation, trauma-informed care, and 12-step meetings.

Adolescent Residential and Outpatient Services

The Scholze Adolescent Center provides both residential and outpatient services that integrate therapy with educational support, helping youth build a foundation for a healthier future.

Transitional Services

Our transitional living programs, including Oasis Halfway House and Family Way, offer supportive environments for individuals in early recovery, with options for single parents and low-income individuals.

DUI School

CADAS offers educational programs for those convicted of DUI or related offenses, focusing on the effects of substance use and providing professional evaluations and treatment recommendations.

Assessments, Consultation, Drug Screening

We provide evidence-based assessments to identify treatment needs and offer specialized services tailored to the unique requirements of organizations and the community.
