Privacy Policy
The Council for Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (CADAS) is a HIPAA compliant drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. As such, any contact information (name, phone number, address, email, etc.) or protected health information (PHI) obtained during intake/orientation or at other times, is strictly confidential and related to a client’s care or potential care. Recording of such information is on an encrypted system accessible only to authorized users with two-factor authentication. We will only share this information with parties relevant to a client’s care or potential care. Communication may include phone calls, SMS texts, emails or verbal communication. Communication examples, if applicable, include but are not limited to, setting appointments and reminders, changes in scheduling, inquiries regarding attendance, and hyperlinks for video meetings. SMS consent or phone numbers for SMS purposes will not be shared under any circumstance for marketing purposes. Contact information or PHI will not be shared to any 3rd party outside of CADAS unless consented by the client. Clients may revoke consent at any time. Clients have rights to request accessing, updating, or deletion contact information unless prohibited by law.

Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be shared with 3rd parties, unless otherwise consented to.
If you have consented to receive text messages from CADAS, you may receive text messages related to setting appointments and reminders, changes in scheduling, inquiries regarding attendance, and hyperlinks for video meetings, or other aspects relevant to your care. Standard Messaging Disclosure:
· Message and data rates may apply. Rate depends on the mobile carrier, and you should contact your current carrier to obtain information about the rate. Message frequency will vary depending on program but will be approximately ~ 3-15 times per week.
· Opt-In Method: Clients will Opt-in for SMS messaging from CADAS through a form on during a client’s intake/orientation, this agreement for SMS will not be shared with third parties for marketing.
· Opt-Out Method: Customers will be able to Opt-out for SMS messaging from CADAS by replying STOP at any time or by informing their counselor or other relevant party. Once opted-out you will receive no further SMS communication. They can opt back in at any time by replying START.
