Wondering what you can or cannot bring to treatment at CADAS?
For the safety of all clients, staff, and visitors, here is a list of the items our clients may bring to residential services. Item’s may vary at our adolescent campus.
Bring these:
- Comb
- Brush
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
- Razor/Shaving Cream
- Blow Dryer, Curling Iron, Hair clippers (Must have safety tags)
- Money – Cash Only (Quarters, Ones, Fives)
- Cigarettes
- Paper/Pencils
- Shower Shoes
- 3-5 Sets of appropriate Casual Clothing
- Hats/caps (Can only be worn outside of the building
Don’t bring these:
- Pillows, bedding (linens) or stuffed animals
- Make-up
- Cell Phones
- Electronics (MP3 player, laptops, Ipod, etc.)
- Cologne, perfume, or body spray
- Mouthwash with alcohol
- Alarm clock radios
- Aerosol products
- Nail polish or remover
- Loose tobacco of any kind or rolled cigarettes
- Electronic cigarettes
- Lighters (CADAS will provide during designated smoke breaks
- Felt tip pens, regular markers, sharpie/permanent marker and Gel pens
- We also ask that you do not bring jewelry
- No items containing glass (Picture frames, plaques, etc.)
